All About the One and Only, Alicia C.!

I have worked in radio and TV for a few years.  I have done three internships at radio stations as well as two internships at TV stations, one of them being WGN-TV in Chicago.  I enjoyed doing that while I was working on my undergrad program but I knew it was what I wanted to do for the rest of my life.  Then my senior year in college, I worked for the Student Programming Board.  We provided all the student activities.  That is when I knew that event planning was my passion.  It was hard work, but I didn't mind doing it because I loved every second of it.

Once I realized this, I knew I wanted to be an Event Planner.  I could easily work for a big company but I wanted to go big and start my own business, which is going to come soon.  I still haven't done any events on my own yet, but I'm working on a website of my own to start off with small events around my hometown and work my way up to big events.  My dream is to move out West and hopefully plan events or business meetings for huge company's as well as celebrities.  Who knows, maybe I can plan the next Kardashian wedding!  Stay tuned for more!
